After reviewing a past decision made in anger, your task is to study these scriptures and come up with an affirmation.
Read Psalm 37:8 and Proverbs 29:11. Don’t rush.
Then write, in your own words, what each passage teaches about self-control, restraint, and wise decision-making.
From what you learn, carve out a personal affirmation from the Scripture. Something short you can remember and say easily.
Examples:
“I can refrain from anger.” (Psalm 37:8)
Do yours.
Practice saying your affirmation daily, especially when you feel triggered.
