(Carefully read this)
When emotions rise, your body often needs a pause before your words or actions follow.
Here are few methods that helps when you feel anger building:
*Count down from 100 slowly to calm your mind and body.
*Excuse yourself to drink water: A short pause can reset your emotions.
*Take a walk or move physically to release tension and adrenaline.
*Pray quietly under your breath
*Meditate on three things you’re grateful for in the life of the person who triggered you.
If walking away or pausing might appear rude, politely ask for space. You can say something like, “Can we pause this conversation? I need a moment to process.” This shows maturity, not avoidance.
